Everyone wants a wedding that feels very personalized, but how do you accomplish that goal? Check out these tried-and-true ideas for 10 ways to personalize your wedding!

Table names & numbers

An easy way to personalize your reception tables is to make each one a different part of your love story.

A few examples from real BRIK couples:
– Cities significant to their relationship (where they met, where they were engaged, first date spot, etc.)
– A photo of the bride & groom at that age (Eg: Table #1 has a photo of each of them at 1 year old, and so on)
– Different songs or albums that are special to the couple

Groom Cake

Groom cakes are a great way to bring some personality to the cake table! A groom’s cake can be whatever you can imagine – we’ve seen a firetruck, an oil tower, school logos, and even a Yeti cooler!

Neon Signs

A last-name neon is the most common, but there are many other unique or custom options as well. We’ve loved seeing how our couples repurpose their wedding neon in their homes, too!

Check out our preferred vendor DFW Neon for rentals, full custom, and semi-custom neon signs!

Signature drinks

Maybe the easiest point on this list! Talk to your bartenders about creating a signature drink for your wedding, or even two signature drinks, one for the bride and one for the groom! Get creative with names that reflect your personalities, or even name them after your pets! Add custom koozies to your bar setup for even more personalization.

Creative guest books

A guest book doesn’t have to be boring! From Jenga pieces to a photography book of your favorite city, there are plenty of ways to make a guest book feel more personal to your relationship.
More ideas from our couples:
– Create a “concert poster” for guests to sign
– An “Adventure Book” like in the movie UP
– Get a Bible and have guests highlight their favorite passages and add words of encouragement
– Sign a vinyl record of your first dance song
– Have attendees take photos with a Polaroid camera & sign them

Custom Monogram

Creating a custom monogram or crest for your stationary and reception design is a great way to personalize your wedding! Plus, you can use it for years to come in the form of wax seals and more!

School Mascots & Cameos

Try this personalization idea as a surprise for your spouse! An unexpected visit from their school mascot or superhero during your reception will keep your guests talking for years to come!

Restroom basket

You know how they say, “It’s the little things?” This is one of those little things that goes a long way! Placing a basket of essentials in the restrooms is a great way to show your guests you’re thinking of them. Think Tide pens, hair ties, hairspray, bobby pins, feminine hygiene products, mouthwash, makeup wipes, and a spray perfume.

Unique favors

Treat your guests to something unique! We’ve seen enamel pins, keychains, palo santo packets, bottle openers, matchboxes, custom salsas, and more. Let your imagination run wild!
