This 100 year-old building was once a textile mill. During renovations, many of the charming characteristics were preserved, including the original hardwood floors and old scale. The building sat vacant for years until late 2015 when Lynsie acquired the space and set her vision in motion. Today, BRIK is one of the first established businesses in the up and coming neighborhood of Near Southside. This Fort Worth venue offers clients a clean, open space with historic charm and modern amenities, perfect for your wedding and reception or any celebration.
After several years of working in the event industry, Lynsie set out to make her dream of owning and operating an event venue a reality. When she came upon the old building on South Calhoun, she knew she found the perfect place for her vision. BRIK Special Events Venue hosted its first event in April 2016 and hasn’t slowed down since. Lynsie happily lives in the Fairmount neighborhood in Fort Worth.

Christy was one of our first BRIK brides to book her wedding here! After that, she bugged Lynsie enough that she hired her to work part-time on the weekends as an event liaison. After 20 years of teaching high school, she decided it was time to make a change and came on full time as the Director of Events, where she oversees every event from start to finish. She and her husband live in the Ryan Place neighborhood in Fort Worth.
